These thrown teapots are from a series of ten I made at my second Banff residency. Each teapot in this series have a matching drinking vessel. They are thrown on the potter’s wheel and have sculpted embellishments, which reference images of The Water Dragon from the Chinese calendar year of 2021. Their small size is based on the traditional Yi Xing teapots.
